“Perfect” adalah balada romantis yang ditulis Ed Sheeran untuk tunangannya, Cherry Seaborn. Inspirasinya datang setelah mengunjungi rumah James Blunt di Ibiza dan mendengarkan lagu rapper Future sambil “bertelanjang kaki di rumput”.

Lagu ini memiliki versi spesial, termasuk duet dengan Andrea Bocelli yang menampilkan orkestrasi penuh. Bagian aransemen string orkestranya dikerjakan oleh saudara laki-laki Ed, Matthew Sheeran, menjadikan ini kolaborasi pertama mereka.
